I eat, dream, sleep and live for Science Fiction. My background is in literature and I spent ten years working as a network engineer for a premier IT company in the Denver area. A transhumanist at heart, I fear not the singularity and embrace technology. Would I upload my consciousness to a synthetic host if given the opportunity? Of course I would! Don’t be silly. The inspiration behind Ultnobe is from Chris Moriarty’s Spin series, and the emergent AI Cohen. Peng’s background is in interstellar navigational plotting and weapons systems management. A skilled navigator, he loves the color green and the spiritual nature of human relationships. Would he upload his stream of consciousness to a computer? Some think he already has. Peng is an augmented organic capable of processing petaflops of data per second via a cranial CPU brain implant. Peng is a blending of technology and animistic spirituality.
