SciFi Video of the Week: Kosmos Episode 1 by Simon Horrocks
Offworlders supported “Kosmos” when Simon Horrocks requested help on Kickstarter to obtain the funds necessary to produce the British Sci-Fi mystery thriller. Heading up the film’s cast is Virginia Hey from the Farscape TV shows which, like Firefly, was “cancelled too soon!” The film features genetics expert Philip Huyt, who desperately fights with doctors and family members who want to pull the plug on his wife who is in an unexplained coma. Philip manages to convince everyone to postpone turning off the life-prolonging machines keeping his wife alive as he enters her mind via new tech called detect “psi-complexes.” This new technologhy will allow him to experience her dreams and memories. The full season can ve viewed here: Season 1 – Kosmos. There is some discussion concerning producing a second season, but nothing definite at this point. Take a look – it’s a fun series.
