My new favorite artist – Polish artist Jakub Rozalski. He is a professional concept artist and illustrator heavily influenced by the Polish countryside and the world war that took such a heavy toll on its land and people. You can just feel the cultural influences oozing through his wonderful images that the artist states are influenced by “paintings of the late XIX and early XX century, history, everyday life, movies, games, and books.” Much of the artwork you see here was completed for the 1920’s based boardgame Scythe by Stonemaier Games.
