Sci-Fi Short of the Week: “PLUG” by Vyle Art.
This totally rad sci-fi short was directed by concept artist and designer David Levy of Tron legacy, Prometheus, Ender’s Game, Tomorrowland, and Avatar2 fame. This is another film shot with the hopes that it will be turned into a full-length feature film. Do watch this because it’s a phenomenal piece of filmmaking. In the short Leila is left behind on Earth after it was destroyed and all humans evacuated the planet. She is raised by robots and yearns to find more organic life. When she eventually discovers more organics on the planet the event brings into question everything she knows. I love the special effects, acting, and overall concept of the film.
