It’s Hugo time my friends. I sure wish I was able to attend the 74th Worldcon this year. I went to last year’s meeting of the faithful in Spokane Washington and had a great time I will never forget! The highlight of Sasquan for me was being invited to Joe Haldeman’s 50th Wedding Anniversary party! It’s not like Joe and I are tight, I just so happened to be in a small Beer With Joe meeting that was his last event of the day. After the meeting had ended and all the books autographed, Joe’s wife Gay invited us all up to their room to attend the anniversary party. I was so excited I had to slow down my pace to avoid beating Joe and Gay back to their hotel suite.
