Sci-Fi Short of the Week: Trial
Upload your consciousness to a new body they said. Nothing will go wrong they said. A quadriplegic soldier given the opportunity to upload his consciousness into a new body takes the offer and runs into a few snags. The producers recommend that you watch this puppy in the dark with the volume cranked.
Like many sci-fi shorts, Trial is intended as a mini film to help raise money for a proposed future full-length film.

Interesting concept. What did you think of the film?
I have to say… as soon as this started, I new the thread it was taking, only because I had read Mindscan by Robert Sawyer, which introduces the concept of perpetual life. That said, I still liked this flick.
Yeah, I liked it too. Methinks the scientists need to do a better of scraping out the old consciousness before they lock and load another one.
