Sci-Fi Short Wanderers by Erik Wernquist:

Wanderers by Erik Wernquist is a labor of love. If this film does not give you the wanderlust to explore our galaxy then nothing will. As the film states in its very first lines of dialogue:

“For all its material advantages, the sedentary life has left us edgy. Unfulfilled. Even after 400 generations in villages and cities we haven’t forgotten – the open road still softly calls like a nearly forgotten song of childhood.”

The short takes you on a journey by recreating places in our solar system where the views must be phenomenal. Some of the locales visited include Jupiter and its red spot, Saturn’s moon  Enceladus, and the rings of Saturn. If that wasn’t enough to tweak your nerd antenna, take a ride on a space elevator to the surface of Mars.

Watch the film and enjoy. For a full description of all the locations featured in the movie visit this Wanderers Still Image Gallery.
